As and EPCM, Profound Engineering Inc. executed a full roof safety system for Master brands cabinets, the scope summary was:
1- Penetrating permanent guardrail system: for sloped roof over 6 degrees: PE design a custom large span guardrail system that would work with the existing building beam structure. The project was requested to be finished without the use of crane due to accessibility issue neither any welding on site.
2- Walkway systems: PE has a variety of anti-slip non-penetrating walkway system varying from 2 ft to 4 ft wide and with or without guardrails.
3- Non-penetrating guardrail systems: around HVAC units.
4- Fall arrest anchor points: Supply of permanent penetrating steel anchor points rated at 5000 lbs. Building steel beams was reinforced with a bolted reinforcement solution specially designed for this application.
